On February 26th, neighbors, business owners, and community partners gathered to celebrate the businesses that make Albany Park, Irving Park, and North Park such vibrant places to live, work, and gather. The 2026 Community Choice Awards was a joyful evening dedicated to recognizing the small businesses that help our neighborhoods thrive.
Powered entirely by the community - from nominations to final votes - the awards reflect the voices of neighbors who showed up to support their favorite restaurants, shops, and service providers. The evening brought together local business owners and residents for a celebration of community pride, connection, and the entrepreneurial spirit that defines Chicago’s northwest side.
We were also honored to welcome BACP Commissioner Ivan Capifali, Assistant Commissioner James Harris, and Alderwoman Rossana Rodriguez Sanchez, who joined us in celebrating the incredible entrepreneurs and small businesses that strengthen our neighborhoods.
