Poetry Tags is a collaborative series of works installed throughout the Albany Park and Mayfair community in celebration of National Poetry Month in 2023. North River Commission worked in partnership with students at Volta Elementary and the Chicago Poetry Center, students at North Park University and Northeastern University, and with students at Lawrence Hall, to create and curate poems that were then placed on vinyl sheets and installed in the windows of currently vacant storefronts throughout the community. Additionally, NRC held poetry readings at NEIU and Lawrence Hall.
